Our practice provides architectural design services for residential, commercial, healthcare and cultural projects from the southwest of the uk to London and abroad.
We have a keen interest in biophilic design and endeavour to incorporate biophilic design values and principles into all of our projects. Biophilic design is a sustainable type of design that integrates nature with architecture.
Current projects include: a community garden space, a childrens theatre, a garden room in London, a dementia research facility, a large extension to a listed house and a residential development of 6 homes in Devon. Research + Design also provide materials research studies, most recently for compressed earth blocks.
Research + Design received the Alan King Award in 2009 for technical excellence and Plymouths Abercrombie Award in 2011 for 'Best Minor Development'.
